Welcome to Sonshine Festival

A very big "Thank You!" to everyone who came out to Sonshine this year and to everyone that put so much hard work into making Sonshine such an amazing 3-day summer festival. The organizers, the security, the volunteers, the vendors, the artists, and, of course, you - the Sonshiners of 2010!

We were blessed with so many great band performances this year. It is just not possible to mention them all! Family Force 5 were as incredibly entertaining as ever. The Newsboys brought a fantastic light show with hydraulic platforms for Jody and Jeff that hovered over the crowd like UFOs, whilst Michael brought the message to the crowd on the catwalk (now named the Tait-Walk). Children 18:3 rocked and the Supertones struck back - so good to have them back! The HM stage flexed its muscle with performances from August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada, and no one will forget For Today - bring on the shofar! The weather stirred things up on Saturday afternoon as a big Minnesota stormed rolled through. The storm may have delayed things a little, but it gave Paul Colman the opportunity to entertain us with his Bob Dylan-style renditions of Newsboys, Mercy Me, and more! As the storm thundered on in the background, the mainstage crowd came alive with an infectious energy. Thousand Foot Krutch took the stage under the most incredible evening sky many of us have ever seen. Skillet were superb and brought the pyrotechnics, and God brought His own light show lighting up the night sky as far as the eye could see, reminding everyone that He truly is the King of kings and Lord of lords!

God has blessed us with the opportunity to have an event like Sonshine Festival. A place where we as Christians can fellowship and celebrate our faith together as friends and families. But more than that, Sonshine has been a life-changing experience for many people and this year was no different.

With 2010 so fresh in our minds, Sonshine 2011 seems just around the corner. It will be Sonshine Festival's 30th Anniversary! With joy and expectation, we just can't wait!
